Mackenzie and I have signed up for the 5K on Nov 3rd 2013.  Both Mackenzie and I have been fortunate to get to know Paul & Carolyn Pugliese's baby boys this past summer. Logan and Adam were born at 26weeks+2day on Mar 6th 2013 weighing in at just over 2lbs each. They spent 3 months in the NICU at Children's Hospital here in London. I'm happy to report that the boys were home to celebrate at the annual Canada Day "Haven" Party, where we were able to cuddle and love them up!!! Please consider donating to this great charity run so that other babies can get the care they need:)

It’s all about the ladies! Run London will roll out the first ever London Lady’s Half Marathon, Half Marathon relay and 5k to benefit ITSY. As a non-profit organization, ITSY supports the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. In addition to helping the “itsy bitsy” NICU residents, Itsy lends a helping hand to families who find themselves unexpectedly in a nightmarish situation, struggling to manage when faced with the unexpected costs of having an infant in the NICU.

*Funds will be granted to the Children's Health Foundation and provided directly to families to help alleviate the costs associated with everyday living expenses, medical equipment rentals and other unexpected fees.
