The Piedmont Environmental Council's comprehensive strategy recognizes the links between city and country, nature and people, conserving and creating. Their accomplishments to date include helping permanently protect more than 360,000 acres, effective work in Richmond and Washington to strengthen conservation initiatives, and a communications network that helps thousands make their voices heard at the local, state and federal levels.
The Piedmont Environmental Council has a written donor privacy policy, which states unambiguously that 1) it will not sell, trade or share a donor's personal information with anyone or any outside organizations, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, unless engaged in a joint venture with The Piedmont Environmental Council or 2) it will only share personal information once the donor has given the charity specific permission to do so.
