OH in Haiti- Respire Haiti LeAnne Lynch

I am so excited and humbled that the Lord is allowing me to serve Him and spread His love in Haiti in about ONE MONTH! I will be traveling with about 12 people from all over the United States whom I have not met yet....it's always awesome how He puts a team together! We are going to spend alot of our week at Respire Haiti. As a reading intervention teacher, I am super happy about getting to be a part of this school and all that God is doing in it. Please take a second and watch one of the YouTube videos about Respire. It is truly amazing and life changing for these kids in a third world country. Education is one of the keys to ending the restovek problem. Restoveks are child slaves/domestic servants. Most of the children enrolled in the school were restoveks as well as other orphaned and vulnerable children. This is coming up very quickly and I haven't had alot of time to get prepared.....however, it has been obvious that He is preparing the way for me......as it is so true that in my weakness He is made strong. When I have felt like I couldn't, He has shown me He can. Please begin to pray for the team and that we listen to all that we are to do.

I will be collecting backpacks throughout October to take with us. We will fill with school supplies. We will also be collecting blessing bags which can include a used summer or lightweight fall/spring outfit. Each outfit can be put in a ziplock bag with a small toy/toothbrush, etc. Thanks for your prayers!:)
