Even if you created a team when you registered for the race, the team needs to be created here one time, too. Then it will appear in the drop down menu. Check first to see if a teammate beat you to the punch and created the team on this form. If so, just click on your team name and you'll be all set.
Set a goal
You do not have to set an end date
You have the option to customize your page. Tell your story… Upload pictures… Make the page your own!
Every dollar will go to research. Every dollar helps!
Set a goal, and make a plan. Here is a $2,500 blueprint:
Ask 100 people for a $10 donation via your social network. Encourage your “friends” to share your fundraising page and keep the chain going.
Ask 10 service providers you frequent for a $25 donation (i.e. your dentist, doctor, insurance agent, groomer, financial planner, home maintenance company, etc.).
Ask 15 friends for a $50 donation. This is a great way to involve your friends, neighbors, book group members, co-workers, etc.
Ask 5 family members for a $100 donation.
Don’t forget…
Be sure to send YOUR unique link to your family and friends
Share your fundraising page on Facebook, Twitter, and with all your email contacts.
