Project Info:
My name is Dan Davis and I have been selected by Photographers Without Borders to travel to Nairobi, Kenya in September of 2015 to document the work of Tackle Africa.
Tackle Africa is an organization that uses the power and popularity of football (soccer) to deliver HIV education to young people. Tackle Africa works with both boys and girls with an age range of 12-18 years of age. Their goal is to reach youth before they become sexually active to ensure they are fully informed and empowered to make safe decisions.
Tackle Africa supports an active network of 465 coaches across East Africa working with 18,000 young people.

Impact:
My photographs will be donated to Tackle Africa to raise awareness about their amazing work in Sub Sahara Africa and help to recruit coaches and resources for this vital project.
Photographers Without Borders:

More about Dan Davis:
I am a freelance photographer living in Colorado. I decided to pursue a career in photography after my Peace Corps service in Cameroon, Africa. Since this time I have been perfecting my skills as a photographer and staying involved in social issues. Whether during my Peace Corps experience, traveling abroad in developing countries or at home, the needs of children have always tugged at my heart strings. I believe underserved youth need to be given every advantage to achieve a life filled with love and success.
Getting Involved:
Your donations will help to cover my travel to Nairobi, Kenya to document the work of Tackle Africa. The funds will defer the cost of my program fees, airfare, transportation, visa, vaccines and travel medical insurance. All surplus funds will go directly to Tackle Africa.
Click the red GIVE NOW sidebar to make a secure online donation. On behalf of Tackle Africa and myself I thank you for your support.
Many Thanks,
Dan
