I met Mark Nolan a little over a year ago. I was puting together a story for the Pump n' Run in Nordonia Hills. We got to talking about what the money was going toward and how he got involved. Little did I know, he had an extremely personal reason for raising money. Below is a brief note from Mark describing his affiliation. He is a huge inspiration.
Now it's my turn to help out. On Saturday September 7th, I will be participating in a Crossfit workout in hopes of raising money for the Battered Women's Shelter in Summit County. I'm taking care of the physical aspect, all I am asking you to do is help me by becoming a sponsor. Any donation of as little as $1 would help tremendously! My goal is to collect $1000 before the 7th!
Thank you so much for helping out!

(Mark's note)
My name is Mark Nolan. I am the affiliate owner of Molon Labe CrossFit. Molon Labe CrossFit is a fitness facility dedicated to making a difference in our community. We invite you to support our charity campaign to assist the Battered Women’s Shelter of Summit County. Why am I doing this? Frankly, to save lives. I lost my beautiful sister over a decade ago. Her name was Jennifer. She was a victim of domestic violence. I can still see her beautiful face and hear the lilt of her voice and the sound of her laugh. She left behind three very young children. Her children, her parents and her siblings (including myself), all miss her very much. Sadly, I could not save her. However, my wife and I want to use our business as a platform to help others who may be in a life-threatening situation. Hopefully, by saving other lives, her death will not have been completely in vain. Please consider helping us save lives.
Sincerely,
Mark D. Nolan
