Allegiant Battle for Veterans is on a mission to Help Heroes Help Themselves. The Battle is about changing the minds and lives of our country's future leaders by calling attention to the needs of those men and women wounded, ill, or injured while serving. The grassroots campaign started with a football invitational and military vendor fair expanding throughout California with 32 teams participating in 2012. The football invitational was mentioned by MaxPreps as one of the top 11 in the nation and the only one of eleven in California. Events now include the Rhythm & Rims with the Sacramento Kings, special Evening of Honor Dinner events, Shop for a CAUSE, and the Battle-THON "Run for a Hero" in association with the California International Marathon.

Allegiant Battle for Veterans is CAUSE driven as it pursues taking the awareness message, not only to the athletes, but to all high school students - calling it the Battle Tour 2013. Students, parents, and members of the community will have a special opportunity to hear directly from those who have served, to understand their needs, and be given the opportunity to embrace the CAUSE and make a difference.

Starting its 3rd year as a nonprofit, Allegiant Battle for Veterans is seeing direct change in the lives of those wounded - Justin McCloud was recognized in St. Louis by throwing out the game ball, Nick Popaditch is running for Congress, the Lindville family is golfing, scuba diving, and had the opportunity to attend the CMA, Juan Dominguez was given a new home provided for by the Gary Sinise Foundation, Tommy Parker is now living on his own, driving, and given opportunities to reach out to high schools students pursuing a speaking campaign, Josue Barron is a rising star with a scholarship opportunity to play wheelchair basketball for one of the best colleges in the country, and several wounded service men and women as part of their treatment will have the opportunity to participate in the California International Marathon running in front of 50,000 fans and finishing on the steps of the states Capitol.

Allegiant Battle for Veterans is working from the inside out. Your support will help us to continue changing minds and lives.

Thank You!
