Help us Feed the Kids and Celebrate 20 years!!!
On December 22nd, 2015 Capt. Dave’s Dolphin and Whale Safari will be celebrating our 20th Anniversary of dolphin and whale watching in Dana Point by holding a special Christmas themed ‘200,000 meal packing-in-just-two-hours’ event, fundraiser and charitable raffle in Dana Point Harbor. We call it an ‘Anniversary Christmas Party with a Purpose’! This exciting event will be covered LIVE by KTLA-5’s Gayle Anderson as well as the Orange County Register and other local media. Lisa Bartlett, 5th District Supervisor will also be attending with her staff. An event for young and old, families, friends and professionals, there will be plenty of high energy Christmas music, hot chocolate, Santa and a few elves, candy canes, prizes, and of course, Mrs. Capt. Dave’s triple fudge brownies!
For the last seven years, Capt. Dave’s has sponsored the purchase and packing of over 400,000 meals with Kids Around the World , a non-profit organization dedicated to helping children and families who have been affected by war, poverty, illness, and natural disasters. Kids Around the World is part of the solution to world hunger. One box of 36 packages feeds 216 children and one pallet feeds over 14,000! At a cost of just 25 cents per meal, our goal for December 22nd is to raise $50,000 … enough for 200,000 meals! We need your help in one of several ways:

200,000 meals is a lot of food! We need your help to raise $50,000 to purchase the food necessary to pack that many meals. We are contributing the first $15,000 but we need YOUR HELP with the rest!
Rockstar Donations: The first 200 people who gift $100.00 will receive one complimentary adult ticket for our 2 and 1/2-hour Signature Dolphin & Whale Safari. Once we see your donation of $100 or more, we'll email you a Gift Certificate for a Safari valued at $65!

We invite you, your family, friends, teammates, neighbors, holiday house guests, (Yes, everyone you know!) to join us for a high-energy Christmas-themed "Party With a Purpose" on December 22 from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. KTLA Channel 5 will be broadcasting the event LIVE, and we'll have incredible raffle prizes and a silent auction. So far we have TWO Nights at the St. Regis, breakfast at the Laguna Cliff's Marriott, an ocean view room at the Surf & Sand and LOTS more!!!. There will be hot coffee and cocoa (Courtesy of Coffee Importers), candy canes and of course Mrs. Capt. Dave's brownies for all!
