You will more than double the impact that last year's Team Homeboy supporters made and enable 4,000 hours of life skills, academic training, and wellness support for men and women at Homeboy Industries through our 5K campaign!
In 2013, about nearly 12,000 former gang members and previously incarcerated men and women from across Los Angeles came through Homeboy Industries’ doors seeking specific services in an effort to make a positive change. An additional 4,000 gang-affiliated family and community members also came to Homeboy seeking free services from tattoo removal to anger management and parenting classes. Homeboy provides full-time employment for more than 200 men and women.
$50 covers uniform costs for one worker
$75 pays for a monthly Metro pass for one worker
$175 covers the costs of GED materials for one student
$250 covers the costs of solar panel installation training materials for one student
$500 covers the cost of a professional wardrobe for one graduating student
There are several ways you can support Homeboy!

Become a 5K Team Captain -- Recruit and lead a team of runners/walkers. Compete against other teams to recruit the largest team and raise the largest amount of funds – top recruiters and fundraisers will receive prizes!

Become a Run/Walk Champion -- Run/Walk Champions raise $500 or more as a part of the 5K campaign. In 2013, Run/Walk Champions raised over $25,000 to support Homeboy Industries!
