The Run Wild 5K and Wild Child Fun Run is a race to benefit children who have been orphaned as a direct result of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa. All proceeds will be used to support and maintain a community-based home in Kenya that provides compassionate, long-term care for orphans in a family-style environment. In this home, children who have been marginalized not only live lives free of exploitation and abuse, but within the context of "family" are enabled to regain a sense of belonging, value, and purpose.
Be a Change Agent:
- Join us for the 3rd annual Run Wild 5K and Wild Child Fun Run on May 10, 2014!
- Share with others in need. See that Give Now button on the right? Use it.
- Inspire generosity by creating your own personalized fundraising webpage. It's easy, and you'll be amazed at the good you can do in the world when you engage your family and friends to give with you. (Think you lack creativity? Pinterest was made for this!)
Together we will be a tribe known for our compassion, purposefully moving on behalf of the vunerable and voiceless. We are passionate, filled with energy, and have a vision worth pursuing. We will not stop until children who have been orphaned, have a place to call home and a family that loves them.
