Nearly a decade ago, God offered me the opportunity to impact the lacrosse community for Him. As someone who felt like the only Christian lacrosse player in college, it is my heart's calling to help ensure no athlete ever feels that type of isolation.
We use every lacrosse game as an opportunity to share Christ not just with the athletes, but with the family members who gather on the sidelines to cheer them on. The time between games is infused with huddles for players and for their parents. We see Truth-centered conversations sparked and hearts changed for the Lord.
I am privileged to be part of a ministry that facilitates opportunities to reach the lacrosse world for the gospel and to provide experiences for Christian lacrosse players to connect with one another. It is my greatest joy to see athletes from across the country develop lifelong friendships rooted in the gospel through an FCA event.
While I am connected locally in North Carolina with FCA, I spent my first eight years on staff with the FCA Lacrosse national staff and still play a role in mobilizing students, adult volunteers and benefactors to national events. On any given month you can find us at lacrosse fields in Chapel Hill, NC, Vail, CO and everywhere in between.
I am as excited going into my ninth year on staff with FCA as I was in my first year. Thank you for prayerfully considering an investment in the lives of many lacrosse players, coaches, and parents. Your generosity makes every gospel-centered event possible.
