Dear fellow American,

My name is Stacey, I'm a mom and grandmother and I am a proud Marine Mom. I have a wonderful daughter Ashley and a fantastic son-in-law Chris who have given me my incredible granddaughter, Riley. My son Marcus and his wife Lauren are proud parents of Hunter who was born on April 5, 2012 . My son has not met him and will not meet him until he is about six months old as Marcus is a deployed Infantry Marine with 1/7. My son's Marine Corps enlistment has taken our family on a journey that we could never have imagined. Throughout this journey I have met some of the most incredible people in the world who are now serving or have served in your military. Our military personnel sacrifice so much day in and day out that the least I can do is run in their honor. I am hoping that you will support my efforts by making a pledge to the Battlethon Run for a Hero.
