Hi, my name is Aleck Gantick. I'm 19 years old and I am currently living and training in my hometown of Steamboat Springs, Colorado as a member of the National Training Group. The Lodwick brothers were my first baby sitters and I think they may have influence me to try ski jumping for the first time. At the age of 7 I fell in love with the sport of Nordic Combined and haven't looked back since. I feel very fortunate growing up in a community that is so supportive of its winter athletes and having access to some of the best training facilities in the country.
As the level I'm competiting at gets higher the competitions get further and further from home. With more trips to Europe every year travel expenses start to add up fast. Thats where the NNF steps in. The NNF helps fund key trips for developing athletes such as myself and other NTG athletes. These are the trips that we need to go to in order to help get us to the next level and bring home Olympic Medals for years to come.
It's that time of year for D25. Through your love and support of Nordic Combined skiing we have created an avenue to ensure the opportunity for our elite athletes to continue building the legacy of results that we as a community have strived for. We are one of the best Nordic Nations on the planet and with your help we can keep it that way.

- Why: In spite of our Olympic medals and World Cup victories, as a nation our developing athletes struggle to afford the racing opportunities they require to compete among the best.
- How: There are two ways.
- 1) Become a Drive for 25 Ambassador. Create your own page and get at least 10 friends to agree to donate $25 by November 15th.
- 2) go to nationalnordicfoundation.com and donate $25 by November 15th.
